Former Ghana Transport Minister, Dzifa Attivor has died aged 65, Modernghana News can report.
Sources have confirmed that the sad demise of the National Democratic (NDC) member occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
According to information gathered, Dzifa Attivor fell ill and was recently on admission at the University of Ghana Medical Center where she, unfortunately, gave up her last breath.
The cause of her death is not immediately known.
Since her death, top NDC members especially in the Volta region, including the party’s Deputy National Communications Officer, Godwin Ako Gunn have expressed sadness.
Dzifa Aku Attivor was appointed in February 2013 by the then President John Mahama as Transport Minister.
She resigned in December 2015 due to a controversial bus re-branding contract.
Besides her political career, Dzifa Aku Attivor was a successful businesswoman.
