MAHAMA MUST APOLOGIZE TO REBECCA AND SAMIRA FOR LYING AGAINST THEM
It is worrying when political actors engage in fact twisting sprees just to score political points, but it is far more tragic when a former President dabbles in same for obvious reasons.
Mr. Mahama’s burgeoning spike in the field of outright lies and propaganda is something a former head of state should not think of engaging in.
For Mr. Mahama to look at us and to lie to us that the Yaa Ntiamoa-Baidu’s Emoluments Committee’s Report only sought to enrich the wives of President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia is something which boggles the mind.
Just so the general public would have a strained relationship with the Akufo-Addo administration, Mr. Mahama came out with that lie to the effect that only Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo and Hajia Samira Bawumia are the beneficiaries of the recommendations in the committee’s report.
If such an information had been propagated by Sammy Gyamfi or any other person for that matter, we would have understood but for it to come from Mr. Mahama himself, a whole former President, it is unpardonable.
Former President Mahama must apologize to the First and Second Lady for setting them up for attacks. He has tarnished their image with his barefaced lies. Such a person ought not to be given the mandate to rule over Ghanaians once again!
