Our elders are very right when they said, “a leopard never changes its spots”. This means that it’s impossible for one to change their character, even if they will try very hard. This is very true of the NDC, especially, their current omnipotent leader by default of inheritance, Mr John Dramani Mahama aka “Mr Dead Goat”.
The ubiquitous former President John Dramani Mahama, as far as the NDC goes, is very well known to many a discerning Ghanaian to be exceedingly corrupt, a liar and crazy for power, whatever the cost may be.
Like an African coup d’état leader wishing to stay in power longer without any interference from his coup d’état colleagues with whom he executed their nefarious treasonable offence, he will leave no stone unturned to mercilessly rid himself of potential contestants seen by him as enemies but not rivals.
If he is not corrupt and overly greedy, why would he indirectly be cited in the declaration of verdict by the British judge on the Airbus scandal as the “elected Ghana government official one”?. Again, why will he be tagged with suspicion in the Brazilian Embraer plane purchase of which the late President Professor Evans Fiifi Atta Mills ordered an investigation into it by a committee?
Sooner had President Mills requested the investigations than he sadly died under what has until today become a suspicious circumstance but never to be boldly and honestly investigated.
If he were not greedy and corrupt, he would not seek to dubiously lease 75% or so, of the Nyinahin bauxite deposit, a national property of immense value of course, to his half-sibling of own questionable character.
John Mahama attempted to lease out the mineral deposit to his brother within six days to quitting the presidency after losing the 2016 election to then president-elect Nana Akufo-Addo of the NPP without seeking parliamentary approval. His action taken to leasing the mineral deposit was contrary to the requirements of the 1992 Constitution as regards the lease of mineral deposits to foreign and or, big companies.
Again, if he were not a liar and crazily resolutely determined to always be the head but not the tail, why would he organize the NDC to embark on a nationwide demonstrations claiming that the NDC had won election 2020 but only to be deprived of victory by the Electoral Commission?
He made his shallow-minded NDC foot soldiers and their conniving leadership understand that the election had been rigged in favour of President Nana Akufo-Addo. He then got them to the streets to burn tyres, screaming and threatening the nation with brimstone and fire if the result was not reversed in favour of John Dramani Mahama, alias John “Draga” Mahama, by courtesy of Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye.
However, after succumbing to persuasions to seek redress through the proper legal channels, he went to the Supreme Court only to change his declaration of, “I had won the election”, to “nobody won the election so I am seeking a rerun” and then again to, “we have come to court to challenge the integrity of the Chair of the Electoral Commission, Mrs Jane Adukwei Mensah, but not the election results”
As the head of the NDC, I can well blame him for being supportive of, if not masterminding and orchestrating, all the evil plots against the good citizens of Ghana as are uncovered in the election-winning strategic-planning meeting held by their National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.
He, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, coached the sycophantic little-minds in attendance to kidnap, kill and or, insult innocent Ghanaians. He also admonished them to cause arsons in the nation, all in the hope of making the nation insecure and ungovernable hence President Nana Akufo-Addo becoming unpopular in the eyes of Ghanaians to subsequently be voted out of power.
The exhibition of traits of tribalism by John Dramani Mahama is unrivalled in the annals of Ghana’s political campaigns. He publicly confidently tells those of his northern extraction to vote for him because he is one of their kind. He gets away with such pronouncements whereas if his rival in the NPP says so, the nation tags him as dangerous, divisive and a person about to cause civil war in Ghana. What nonsense that is!
John Mahama for all the wickedness, cluelessness, incompetence, corruption and whatnot, that he signifies, embodies and stands for, he had better be out of sight to be out of the public mind. As soon as you sight him, all the ills that he stands for come running through your mind.
Therefore, a new face of NDC leader is called for. Hence my support for Dr Kwabena Duffour to come to rid the Ghanaian political arena of this seemingly indelible stain that has come to give a bad name to the NDC and made it more dangerous than it was under its dictator founder, the late former President J. J. Rawlings.
Why do NDC folks regard former President John Dramani Mahama as the soul and heart of the NDC without whom NDC ceases to exist? When did this latter saint become the founder and the tin god of NDC?
The more I see and hear him run his mouth, tagging others as corrupt, the only thing that comes into mind is, “The pot calling the kettle black”
He will only be out of my mind if he were out of sight hence wishing Dr Kwabena Duffour or any other contestant in that regard good luck to defeat John Dramani Mahama in any future NDC flagbearership primaries.
Are you not fed up with all the negativities he represents? Is he not annoying to be heard making irresponsible statements in attempts to portray himself as a clean person while all others are soiled?
