SLEEPY GEORGE OPARE-ADDO CANNOT OIL HIS INCOMPETENCE WITH A NEEDLESS DEMONSTRATION OVER EJURA
George Opare Addo’s lethargic leadership has obliterated the trust and confidence reposed in him by the youth of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
To win these disgruntled and anger-filled youth of the NDC over, Pablo seeks to use the unfortunate happenings in the Ejura enclave as a springboard since there are strong indications that he will contest as the National Youth Organizer of the NDC for the second time.
He lacks stratagem! He seeks to profit from the unfortunate incidents of Ejura. Whoever is not politically naive would not urge his party members to hit the streets to ask for justice for the dearly departed trio.
It is so insensitive and unfortunate to be plotting to engage in a violent protest when the situation is still volatile. The deaths of the trio appeal to the NDC as it can serve as a catalyst for them to gain some political points.
The call for justice as this demonstration seeks to suggest is moot since the police has already launched investigations into the killing of Kaaka with some suspects having been arrested.
The two who were said to have been shot by the military have had their matter being handled by the President’s charging of the Interior Minister to conduct a public inquiry into same within ten days.
With these ongoing investigations, what is the need for a demonstration? Isn’t the committee set up meant to get justice for the two? Isn’t the police investigation into Kaaka’s killing a means to get him justice? Why use riots to achieve something which is already in full swing?
What is even the NDC’s business in a purely criminal matter like this? The fixthecountry gang has failed to live up to expectations so the mainstream party wing is being deployed to take it up from there!
Kaaka was not even a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress so why are they crying more than the bereaved?
The wheels of justice have already been rolled out and, therefore, there is no additional need for this dude and his sleepy hollow of youth wing to pollute the atmosphere any further.
